Lifeline in Zambia
Core Values and Objectives Vision and Mission Statement Organisational Details

Lifeline in Zambia was founded in December 2004, the intention was to create an umbrella organization for projects established around the nation.

Before that Maron and Lene started working together in 2001 and established 4 independent community based projects, while operating from Mpatamatu, Luanshya, Zambia. An increasing burden grew upon their hearts to see Christians across church denominations in Zambia joining together and through social interventions become the answer to the many in our nation suffering under the impact of the AIDS pandemic and poverty.

They started with one HBC (Home Based Care) project in Chipulukusu, Ndola. The following year the program was extended to other communities in the Copperbelt and Central provinces. LIZ now has 11 projects – 6 HBC projects and 5 OVC (Orphaned and Vulnerable Children) projects, involved in many different activities.
